Alba's post included a description of cenotes as "dzonot" from the Mayan language, considered sacred gateways to the underworld.
Her Instagram carousel featured images of Alba in a floral print bikini, relaxing by the water's edge, and participating in a meditation session inside the cave. The actress's visit to Mexico was part of her 43rd birthday celebration, including a stay at the five-star Rosewood Mayakoba resort in Riviera Maya.
