Nottinghamshire Police have released footage showing drivers performing dangerous manoeuvres, including doughnuts, with passengers hanging out of car windows. The video was shared as part of a police initiative, Operation Wheelspin, aimed at cracking down on individuals treating the streets as their "personal race track."

The footage was made public on Wednesday, 23 April, highlighting the ongoing efforts since the operation's launch in October. According to the police, more than 180 drivers have faced action under the operation, which has also contributed to a 20 per cent reduction in related crimes.

PC Abigail Green spoke about the initiative's intentions, emphasising the seriousness of the issue. She told the Independent, "We have a zero-tolerance approach to antisocial driving. Stunts, collisions, and excessive speed by often young and inexperienced drivers can result in life-changing injuries and fatalities on our roads."

Operation Wheelspin continues to target reckless drivers in Nottinghamshire, aiming to improve road safety through enforcement and community awareness.
