The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the drone strike hit locations associated with the Syrian army’s Brigade 112 in Saida village, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The organization noted that the officer killed was a lieutenant known to be closely affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah group. This incident occurs amid escalating regional tensions linked to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.
