The Platonovsky oil depot in Tambov Oblast, southeast of the region's capital, experienced a fire presumed to be due to a drone attack. Local authorities, including Governor Maksim Yegorov, confirmed the incident.

In a related event, Murat Kumpilov, head of the Adygea region, reported a fire at a Lukoil depot in Enem, Adygea, purportedly following a drone strike around 2:40 a.m. The fire, which expanded to over 1000 square meters, was brought under control by 6 a.m.

These incidents are part of a larger series of escalations involving cross-border drone strikes between Ukraine and Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that its air defense systems intercepted approximately 15 drones overnight, spread across multiple Russian regions.
